- Ask teachers to carefully read the Teacher's
art notes.
- When organising your order it is important that EACH PIECE OF ART is
clearly marked with the child’s full name, class/room number and number
of calendars/cards ordered and kept in class lots.
- Also, please return teacher and master order forms with your order.
- If there is more than one piece of art per child, treat each as a separate
order on the teacher list e.g. Sally Brown 2,1 if she has
2 pieces of art and wants 3 calendars. If families wish
to buy one calendar only, they can make a collage using one piece of our
art paper as a base.
- It is easy to overprint the parent order forms with your details (i.e.
price, return by date and email address).
You can do this by using a Microsoft Word template that we have provided on our Templates page. We have created a Microsoft Word template for each variety of Parent Order form. - After the children have completed their artwork, send one PARENT ORDER FORM home per child.
- Instruct the teachers and children to place returned PARENT ORDER FORMS and money (in envelopes), in a box marked KIDS ART WORKS calendars. Leave this box in the office until a few days after the official deadline – there will always be some stragglers.
- Ask the teachers to write the children’s FULL names and class/room number and school name on the front of each piece of art.
- Using our TEACHER ORDER FORMS or the school’s printed class lists, note the children who have paid and the number of products ordered. Collect the artwork from the teachers.
- Tape the parent order forms onto the front of the art. Keep the artwork in separate class/room lots and attach your Teacher Order Forms.
- Finally, fill in the MASTER ORDER FORM. If you want your school name or any other text to appear on the calendars, fill in the exact wording in the space provided.
- We suggest you keep a copy of both TEACHER and MASTER order forms in case there are any discrepancies.
- Displaying the children’s finished artwork e.g. at a parent teacher evening or fete encourages sales.
- We also suggest that teachers send home the artwork of the children who have not ordered with another reminder about the calendars/cards.
- Rather than sending the art paper home with the children, we strongly suggest that the artwork is completed in the classroom as an activity. Teachers have access to a bigger variety of art materials and can make sure that the artwork is completed and kept in a safe place.
- The processing time is 2-3 weeks plus postage time to and from Melbourne.
Payment is due 30 days after delivery of the finished products. We will send you an invoice with your finished order.
Our Pricing page lists cost to the school, suggested profits, and prices for parents.
